This training is suitable for organisations and business trusts who have members with legal issues who wish to represent themselves with the assistance of their organisation/trust. ( Our current emphasis is to assist the organisations and trusts which represent Indigenous Peoples in NZ and Australia. )
Representing yourself professionally during your legal proceedings (either beforehand or during) or in important meetings with corporate and other parties should not be as challenging as it is perceived, particularly if you have learnt the Court/Tribunals processes within the Jurisdiction your found yourself in.
McKenzie Friend Professionals offer training for those who found themselves in Courts and Tribunals as a self-litigant. Once you learn the Court processes, you will be able to focus on your case and dedicate your time on the right things. During our training, we will run you through the Court processes, timetables, meetings and everything else you need to know to gear yourself up to run your own case. Be clear, we do not provide any legal advice. You are running your case.
Suitable for those who found themselves in the Employment, Housing and Disputes Tribunals, ACC, IRD, Family and Civil Courts.
There are many ways you may have to deal with Tribunals and Courts as a business owner and/or Managing Director, representing your business as a Self-litigant.
